Hi, my name is Farida Seyam. I am an artist living in Egypt. I consider myself a versatile visual artist. I have used watercolors, acrylics, ink and mixed media to create my artwork.

I have always tried to put myself in a box when it comes to describing the kind of artist I am; but really, as an artist I believe in freedom, flexibility and change.

I will not try to label my art one way or another, although I will say that all my art comes from my need to express my inner world and to communicate that which is wordless. Play and intuition is a huge part of my process, especially lately.

Introspection is the essence of what I do. The more I create the more I understand myself and connect with the world around me.

I love art and that is why I am an artist. I believe it is a powerful tool for self-discovery and connection. I owe so much of my growth to the art I have created over the years. I have become softer and kinder to myself, I understand my self. I respect myself and heal.
